Neoclassicism

Neoclassicism — the direction of the architecture of the last third of the XIX-XX centuries, which is characterized by an appeal to the traditions of ancient art,Renaissance and Classicism art as the antithesis of excess decorative architectural eclecticism and modern. Neoclassicism also called the style of Louis XIV in the late XVIII century in France. The main element of neoclassicism was a colony and a warrant. In neoclassical architecture are allocated 3 periods: early 1910 - mid 1920 (France), 1930 (Italy, Germany, USSR) and the end of 1950 (United States of America).
