Tour Vitebsk carpets

We invite you to the only carpet manufacturing enterprise in Belarus — «Vitebsk Carpets». Here, in the historic buildings of the late 19th century, originally constructed by the Russian-Belgian Society, the traditions of Belgian masters meet modern technologies. You will embark on a tour of an active weaving workshop, where powerful European looms transform threads into carpets with intricate patterns. You will see the full production cycle: from a design sketch to the finished carpet with anti-slip backing. The program continues with a visit to the enterprise's history exhibition hall, which houses unique artifacts chronicling the journey from a linen spinning mill to the country's largest carpet manufacturer.

The excursion from Minsk to the «Vitebsk Carpets» factory will be interesting for adults and children over 10 years old who are passionate about manufacturing processes and history. The visit concludes with an opportunity to purchase a memorable souvenir at the company store.
