The church in honor of the Holy Virgin Protection (visual inspection)
The church in honor of the Protection of the Holy Virgin in the village of Krupcy in its modern form was erected in 1992-1997. The first small chapel in the village was built in the 17th century after the miraculous appearance of the icon of the Mother of God, which was called «Krupetskaya». Later in its place was built a large Holy Protection Cathedral, which was not fated to reach our days: on the orders of the Soviet authorities, it was dismantled in 1936 and only in the end of XIX in the village was erected a new church.
Freedom Square
Not each city can brag of 2 centers – the Belarusian capital was lucky here. Island of courage and sorrow
“Island of Courage and Sorrow” is a memorial complex dedicated to Belarusian internationalist soldiers who perished in Afghanistan between 1979 and 1989. Over 30,000 Belarusians took part in the war, of whom 789 were killed, 12 went missing, and 718 were left disabled. This memorial is an essential part of Belarusian history, symbolizing the memory of those who lost their lives in combat outside their homeland.
Trinity suburb
Trinity Suburb is a cozy corner of old Minsk with picturesque streets, 18th–19th century houses, and the Svislach River embankment. It offers charming courtyards, atmospheric cafes, and museums. A perfect spot for a stroll and beautiful photos.
Victory Square (visual inspection)
Victory Square welcomes with solemn greatness inhabitants and guests of the Belarusian capital. In the center her 38-meter obelisk and an eternal flame. Independence Square

Having taken a place of honor in the downtown, it collected around itself a set of sights: the most beautiful church of Minsk and the oldest university, government buildings and the biggest monument to Lenin in the former Soviet Union. The modern landscape was added by lawns of greens and fountains, cozy shops and glass domes of the three-storyed shallow city – Shopping Center «Stolitsa».
