In June 5, 2017 in Kalinkovichi district there isthe ceremony of «Perenos svechi».
In the village of New Kalinkovichi district preserved the ceremony of «Perenos svechi» that exists since the beginning of the 19th century. Once a year, an Icon and a Candle stand from house to house. Icon, usually girls. All the villagers, especially the sick, infirm crawl under the Icon until it is carried to the second house, asking of God health care.
