Every summer, Vitebsk transforms into a city where colors become brighter, sounds become deeper, and the atmosphere seems filled with the lightness of a dream. Chagall Days are more than just a cultural event, but a true encounter with the poetry of painting, music, and thought.

During these days, artists, art historians, musicians, and art lovers from all over the world come here to experience the legacy of Marc Chagall—a master who knew how to transform everyday life into wonder. The program includes scientific conferences, plein air paintings, creative meetings, and roundtable discussions where people discuss, debate, and discover new meanings.

The celebration culminates on July 7th, Chagall's birthday. A special magic comes to life in the garden of his House-Museum: live music plays, actors and circus performers walk along the alleys, merging into an open-air theater. The entire space is filled with a light, almost weightless joy—just like in the paintings of the master himself.

Chagall Days are when Vitebsk breathes art, and you become a part of it.
