Belarusian beer

Belarusian beer is a traditional Belarusian drink.

One of the features of the Belarusian beer is a sufficiently low strength of this drink (4-5%, and only some varieties have a strength of 6%).

Earlier, the brewery (and distillery) in Belarusian was called «brovar». In the open-air museum «Dudutki», not far from Minsk, there is the only brovar in Belarus, for which an exception was made in the state monopoly for the preparation of alcohol.

Every year, in Lida, Grodno region, the «Lidbeer» festival of hops, malts and water is held, which attracts many tourists from different parts of Belarus and beyond.
