08-February-2019Dermatoscopy is a fast and modern diagnosis of the skin layers, which allows to identify and control skin tumors and other skin diseases. Its main task is analysis of moles for malignancy, and its advantage is non-invasive.
Moles control and their cartography is an important step in early diagnosis of cancer. Skin cancer is previously prevented by using a modern German video system FotoFinder. Thanks to longly saved pictures of moles and regular inspection you can notice even the slightest changes.
The diagnostic procedure is very simple - a special gel or oil is applied to the skin, the doctor focuses on it using a dermatoscope, the doctor reveals the nature of the formation, its depth, structure, boundaries and other important indicators. The procedure allows to avoid surgery at the stage of early diagnosis and to determine the need for oncologist consultation.
