News : Free tour of Minsk

In 2017, the Belarusian Tour Operator Automated tourism technologies are 10 years old! In honor of this event, the excursion portal Ekskursii.by invites all comers to free walking tours around Minsk.

We invite all comers to the first free walking tour of Minsk, which will be held on June 16, 2017 at 18:00. The place of gathering of excursionists is Freedom Square near the Minsk City Hall building. During the excursion you will see the source of the city Minsk Castle, learn about the appearance of the city in the pages of the chronicles, try to imagine what the medieval Mensk looked like and what it was built up in a tree on the peninsula at the confluence of two rivers and surrounded by an earthen rampart.

On the Freedom Square you will see the restored Minsk City Hall, the guest yard, shopping rows, the hotel "Europe", interesting sculptural compositions dedicated to the history of the city of Minsk, and you will feel the atmosphere of Cathedral Square.

You will also have a walk along the embankment of the Svisloch River, along the quiet streets of the picturesque Trinity Suburb, where you will feel the living image of the city of the XIX century. On the Tears Island you can pay tribute to the memory of internationalist soldiers and make a wish by holding the weeping angel by the wing.
