Franciscan Church and Monastery - a monument of baroque architecture. Founded in 1635 E.Kurchem and his wife Susan. Difficult terrain predetermined asymmetric composition of the temple, including a bell tower and the monastery complex. The stone two-storey housing and three-nave monastery church form a closed courtyard.
Among the 20 previously existing in the Grand Duchy of Lithuanian Franciscan churches Grodno - one of the few remaining active and continuously.
The interior of the church is decorated with sculptures and stucco. The temple is famous for the miraculous icon of Our Lady of Angels of the XVII century.
