Excursion will introduce You are with one of the most ancient cities of Belarus is Gomel, which arose at the end of the 1st millennium AD. And the unique place Vetka is the former largest center of Posad Old Believers in the Belarusian lands.

Sightseeing tour of Gomel will acquaint you with the sights of the city, its architectural appearance, the main monuments, as well as its historical center. During the tour you will visit Palace of the Rumyantsevs-Paskevichs is one of the most ancient cultural monuments of Belarus of the XVIII-XIX centuries, with the history of which the life and work of outstanding people of the Russian Empire - statesmen, princes Rumyantsev and Paskevich are connected. Also during the tour you can see the preserved elements of the historical landscape of the ancient settlement of medieval Gomel, the Winter Garden - a monument of architecture of the XIX century, created from a greenhouse in 1877 by the order of Prince F. Paskevich, the railway station and the station square.

After a sightseeing tour around Gomel, you will travel to the Vetka district. Once in this region there was a border of ancient principalities, where the western and eastern Slavic cultures were constantly encountered. Here in the XVII century the Old Believers settled. The tour will take place in places related to the life, culture, customs and traditions of the Old Believers. You will visit Vetka Museum of Old Believers and Belarusian Traditions where you will learn about the old-believing traditions of icon painting, ancient ways of creating hand-written books, as well as get acquainted with the original school of the Vetka carving.
