The Museum-reserve «Nesvizh» invites you to remember the old custom - kuligi in the Nesvizh Palace. On January 7, 8 and 9, 2021 not only an exciting excursion awaits you, but also a meeting with the Radziwills, who from different centuries have glanced into the family palace for a short time. It seems unbelievable in everyday life, but quite possible on magical Christmas days!

Kulig was originally a tradition of horse-drawn sleigh rides, in which several sleigh teams (procession) participate. In the 18th century, in the former Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, this entertainment was very popular both among the magnates and the middle part of the nobility. This fun has become a tradition of Christmas visits. From Christmas to Great Lent, friendly companies toured the estates and palaces, where they spent several days. The host received the guests with all the generosity he was capable of. In addition to the festive table, special Christmas entertainment was prepared.
