Kuligi in the Nesvizh Palace
05-January-2021Kulig was originally a tradition of horse-drawn sleigh rides, in which several sleigh teams (procession) participate. In the 18th century, in the former Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, this entertainment was very popular both among the magnates and the middle part of the nobility. This fun has become a tradition of Christmas visits. From Christmas to Great Lent, friendly companies toured the estates and palaces, where they spent several days. The host received the guests with all the generosity he was capable of. In addition to the festive table, special Christmas entertainment was prepared.
Now you have the opportunity to participate in the old fun together with the hospitable Radziwills. Do not leave the palace until you have examined everything, heard, purchased and tried. An old Christmas tradition demands it!
You can visit the event as part of an individual excursion «Nesvizh is the capital of uncrowned kings».
