Railway station in Gomel (visual inspection)
The Gomel Railway station welcomes city visitors with festive appearance and refined interiors. Commune House (visual inspection)
The house of a name of the Commune of Paris – the first high-rise building in Gomel and one of the first in Belarus in own way. It is built on Stanislav Shabunevsky's project – the chief architect of the city. Here the first passenger elevator in the city was released. In the house all conditions for workers of the railroad were created: on the first floor the dining room, reading room, kindergarten, on the others – apartments were located. Near the House commune also the first 9-storey construction appeared later. -
Ilyinskaya Church in Gomel (visual inspection)
According to a legend, Yemelyan Pugachev after return from Turkey came for the help to the Gomel Old Belief community and came to pray to the temple twice. Nowadays it is the Gomel church consecrated in honor of the Prophet Ilya – the oldest remained Old Belief temple in Belarus. The unique monument of the Belarusian wooden architecture was built at the end of the 18th century, and now – the historical and cultural value of republican value. -

Hunter house (visual inspection)
The Hunting Lodge is a city mansion in Gomel, built near the Rumyantsev-Paskevich palace and park complex. It is an architectural monument of the first half of the 19th century. Once, the Hunting Lodge served as the summer residence of the Rumyantsevs. Today, it houses the active Gomel History Museum.

The Residence of Rumyantsev and Paskevich
In the second half of the 18th century the empress Catherine II presented Gomel to the Russian commander Rumyantsev for merits before the fatherland. Then where Sozh is silvered, the history of the magnificent palace which admires inhabitants and city visitors still began. It was constructed on the project of the same architect that built Kazan Cathedral and Alexander Nevsky Lavra in St. Petersburg – I. Starova. In the 19th century the palace was redeemed by the famous Russian commander Paskevich who regarding it with awe, continued construction of a complex.
