  Kirill Turovsky – Belarusian and East Slavic religious figure, theologian, writer. He was actively engaged in preaching, political and literary activities and became famous as a master of oratorical prose. In 1984, an outstanding enlightener was included in the Cathedral of Belarusian Saints, and in 1993 on Zamkova Hill on the bank of the Pripyat River, a monument was erected in his honor. Inside the monument is one of the large stone crosses, which, according to local residents, sailed along the Pripyat against the current to the Turov straight from Kiev.
