The regional festival-contest of masters of weaving «Matchyny krosny» is held every three years since 2000.

The main purpose of the contest - the restoration and development of the Belarusian folk weaving traditions.

The popularity of the festival is growing every year, the number of participants is growing.

At the festival-contest event guests have the opportunity to see an exhibition of the best products of masters of the Minsk region.

Each region has its famous weavers, whose names are closely linked to the development of weaving.
