The Festival «Zolotoy shlyager» - a remarkable phenomenon in the cultural life not only in our republic comments, but also in the international arena. This annual festival of music and song became one of the most exciting music events in Belarus.
The festival traditionally is held in Mogilev and was first organized in November 1995 with the support of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. At various times, it was attended by recognized masters of art from more than 25 countries.
This year's festival will be held in November. All the days of the festival will be full of various concert programs and events. During the festival will take place contest of young performers, well-known in our country and far abroad; competition of vocal and instrumental ensembles, in memory of Vladimir Mulyavin; concert of children's groups.

One of the most significant festivals of youth theaters in Europe will be held in Minsk from 19 to 24 of November. Festival «Teatralny Kufar» is annually attended by 15-20 theaters, 250 participants from all over the world. Over the fifteen years of its existence, the festival was attended by representatives of more than 65 countries.
Festival «Teatralny Kufar» - it is:
- the only international festival of student theaters in Belarus;
- one of the most influential youth theater forums in Eastern Europe;
- a transnational platform that brings together talented and active youth from around the world.

On November 23-24, everyone can plunge into the atmosphere of the Napoleonic era at the international military-historical reconstruction festival «Berezina-2019», which will traditionally be held on the Brilevskoe pole (Brilevskoe field). The festival, annually gathering spectators and participants from around the world, has already become a kind of visiting card of the Borisov district.
The festival program includes memorial ceremonies, memorial places attendance, visit to museum, organizing social events with dance master-classes, folk-art fair, interactive theme areas for children and adults, and, of course, reconstruction of a fragment of the battle between Russian and French Armies when Napoleon's army crossed Berezina river in November 1812.

The XIV International Festival of Theater Art «Slavic Theatre Meetings» will be held in Gomel in December 3 - 8, 2019. The festival dates back to 1983. Over the years, the festival has hosted leading theater groups from Minsk, Kiev, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Chisinau, Odessa, Krakow, Vilnius, and other cities in the near and far abroad. Gomel (Republic of Belarus), Bryansk (Russia) and Chernigov (Ukraine) became the centers of the festival.
The main purpose of the event is to strengthen the traditions and promote new trends of the Belarusian theater, as well as to familiarize the audience with the masterpieces of world and national artistic heritage. The festival is focused on the expansion and strengthening of the international creative ties of the Slavic states; mutual enrichment of the repertoire with the best examples of national theatrical heritage. Spectators have a unique opportunity to see the productions of theaters from near and far abroad, without leaving the city.
In the festival program guests are expected:
- opening and closing ceremonies of the festival;
- show performances;
- press conferences and thematic «round tables»;
- workshops;
- creative meetings.

On December 4-8th in Brest the II International multi-genre festival «Belavezhskaya Zorka» will be held. This is an open competition in which performers and creative teams from Belarus and other countries can take part.
The competition is held in the following categories:
- vocal
- choreographic work
- instrumental work
- theater work
- fine art
Winners will be determined in each nomination, for each age category.
The competitive auditions will be held on a day separately set for each nomination, with the award on the same day. The applicants for the Grand Prix will be selected from the nominations, who will perform on the stage on December 8th in the final concert, where the absolute winner of the festival will be determinedEach event participating in the competition will be marked with a Diploma and a company figurine. All participants will also receive a gift of a visit to the estate of the Belarusian Dzed Moroz in Belovezhskaya Pushcha.

From December 12th to December 18th, 2019 at The Bolshoi Theater of Belarus will host the anniversary 10th Minsk International Christmas Opera Forum, which annually brings together participants from neighboring countries and far abroad.
Starting this year, the format of the Minsk International Christmas Vocal Competition is changing - now it will be held once every two years. The next competition will be held in 2020. And this season, the audience will see the Gala concert of the laureates and owners of the Grand Prix of previous years, which will bring together world-famous stars working today at the Mariinsky, Mikhailovsky, Yerevan, Sofia, Estonia and other theaters.

Every year in the middle of December, on the eve of New Year's holidays, talented craftsmen from different parts of Belarus and abroad gather at the exhibition of authorial products «Mlyn» to showcase the results of their work and share their experience with everyone.
