traditionally held the rite of «Farewell to the mermaids».
This rite ends with the mermaid week is a time when these folk characters are on the ground. On the seventh day of the week are seeing the mermaids, it is believed that after this they will not bother people for a year. According to the rite, girls dress up mermaids, wear wreaths, with the songs coming through the village, lead dances around the fire, which burned wreaths. The remaining wreaths are thrown into the water, which symbolises the mermaids.
