On December 14, 2019 in Kalinkovichi there will be a regional amateur and professional creativity contest «Light Your Star». The competition has become a good tradition and a significant event in the cultural life of the city of Kalinkovichi and the Gomel region. Annually, more than 400 people of different ages (up to 17 years old) participate in the competition in the following genres: vocals, choreography, choral singing, visual and decorative arts, art, theater, musical theater, original genre, fashion theater.
According to the results of the contest, the winners are awarded with statuettes, diplomas and commemorative gifts.
