This is the old custom of the first pasture of cattle. Yuri - guardian of animals and farming. This holiday marks the beginning of spring, it is a holiday of flowering gardens, a period offlowering of all life. In the Orthodox Church, the holy Great Martyr George is revered as the guardian of the earth, the patron saint of fields and fruits of the earth.
Holiday program includes:- trip to the blooming garden of a farm
- The rite of «Yuri», with the folk songs of the region about the awakening of earth, spring
- folk dances and games with the participation of a folklore collective
- festive feast in the farmstead, old regional cuisine
- communication with artisans, an exhibition of embroiderers, knitting masters, embroidery and woodcarving
