The 50th Anniversary memorial of the Hero of the Soviet Union, Hero of Socialist Labor K.P. Orlovsky in cycling on the highway will be held in July. Annually competitions gather athletes from all corners of the country.
Kirill Prokofievich Orlovsky was born in the village Myshkovichi. He was the head of the guerrilla sabotage detachment in Poland, was a member of the civil war in Spain and the Soviet scout in China, headed the guerrilla group during The Great Patriotic war. And even having lost both hands, this brave man didn't lose heart. He was awarded many state awards. Streets and schools are named after him.
The program of the event: grand opening, group women's and men's cycling races at various distances, as well as summarizing and awarding the winners.
