At the Neman Glass Factory, visitors will learn about the technology of colored glass and crystal production and visit the factory museum showcasing works by the best glassblowers and artists. The excursion introduces the history and process of oil extraction in Belarus. Guests will visit an operating drilling rig, see a pumpjack lifting oil to the surface, explore the Oil Museum, learn about oil usage, and even undergo a symbolic initiation into oil workers — including a look at shift workers’ living conditions and a traditional oil-smearing ritual.
