XXIX International Festival of Classical Music «January Music Nights»
The main site of «January Music Nights» traditionally will be the Brest Academic Drama Theater. There will be four great musical evenings. In addition, two day concert featuring artists from Poland, Belarus, France, China and Korea will be held in Brest College of Music.
Total participation in the festival is scheduled around 200 artists from 11 countries, including both well-known masters of the classical scene, and young musicians. In particular, the Presidential Orchestra conducted by Victor Babarikin, the prima of the Mariinsky Theatre, People's Artist of Russia Olga Borodina (mezzo-soprano), "the King of Romance", People's Artist of Russia Oleg Pogudin are awaited in Brest. The masterpieces of Western European, Russian and Belarusian music will be presented. Many of the works in the «January Music Nights» will be performed for the first time.
A pleasant innovation is that the one of the festival concerts of the International Festival of Classical Music «January Music Nights» will take place also in the satellite city of Brest Zhabinka. The festival concert featuring guest artists, winners of international competitions from Belarus, Kazakhstan and the Netherlands in one music forum day music forum is planned for the city Culture House.
Complete The program of the festival will be ended by already traditional, but no less long-awaited Christmas Ball.
