tour Mogilev - Bujnichi field
The “Mogilev – Buinichi Field” tour is a one-day trip from Minsk that introduces you to the historical and cultural heritage of one of the oldest cities in Belarus, as well as to a site of heroic events during the Great Patriotic War.
During the Mogilev city tour, you will see the city's architectural and cultural landmarks: the Town Hall, Stars Square, the Church of Saint Stanislaus, and other significant sites. The program also includes a visit to a 19th-century ethnographic village, where the traditional life and crafts of a Belarusian village are recreated. A special part of the tour is the visit to Buinichi Field — a symbol of the courage and resilience of Mogilev’s defenders. It was here in the summer of 1941 that Soviet troops held back the advance of Nazi tanks. War correspondent Konstantin Simonov worked here, later describing the events in his novel “The Living and the Dead” and requesting that his ashes be scattered at this very site.
A tour to Mogilev with a visit to Buinichi Field from Minsk is suitable for school groups, students, themed and patriotic trips. Upon request, we can organize an individual or corporate tour along the Minsk – Mogilev – Buinichi Field route, tailored to your preferences.
You will see: Church of St. Stanislaus in Mogilev (visual inspection), Nicholas monastery with the church of St. Onufriy (visual inspection), Mogilev City Hall (visual inspection), Stars Square, Mogilev Drama Theater (visual inspection), Ethnovillage Mogilev, Bujnichi field -
