The Belarusian national technical University

Buildings of student campus of National Technical University erected on Nezavisimosti Avenue in 1953 year. Along the avenue - the hostels, and in the depths of the park - the main school building. BNTU - the largest educational and scientific center of Belarus and one of the largest in Europe, the firstborn, and the flagship of higher technical education in the country, was established in 1920 year. Five faculties carried out an intake of students, now - 17. Since its foundation, the university has trained and issued more than 175-thousand highly qualified specialists for the Republic of Belarus. Over the past decade, university has worked extensively as a conservation professions that are vital to the country and the opening of new specialties, which earlier in the country did not prepare specialists, including: «The low-temperature technique», «Shipbuilding and operation of inland waterway transport», «Atomic energy», «Geodesy» and many others. It should be noted that in the last 10 years the University opened 33 new specialty.
