Belarusian printing House is the oldest press building in Belarus, which began its work on December 19, 1917.

Trade school opened in 1921 a which trained workers of printing specialties. New rotary machine with a capacity of 5 thousand impressions per hour, which began work in 1924, allowed to publish newspaper 'Zvezda' with a circulation of 12-14 thousand copies. in 1925 new prints were used.

From 1929 to 1935 new building of the Press House was under construction.
An underground printing press was created During the Great Patriotic War and the newspaper Zvyazda was published. The 31st issue of 'Zvyazda' was issued In July 1944, and 'Chyrvona Zmena' and 'Sovetskaya Belorussia' also. After the war, the printing house began to produce 12.4 million copies of books and brochures and 96 million copies of newspapers.

By 1957 the printing house occupied an area of 4,000 square meters. And in 1971 the printing house was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor. The diploma of the Supreme Council of the BSSR was received in 1977. In 1993 the passport production was created.

By 2001, 178 newspapers use the services of the printing house. After 2002, the Belarusian printing house began to master modern technologies, new printing machines began to appear, which contributed to the development of new types of printing.

In 2017 the Belarusian Press House celebrated its 100th anniversary.
At present, the Belarusian Printing House is a unique enterprise combining age-old traditions and innovative technologies.
