All Saints Church

The Church of All Saints is one of the most significant modern Orthodox churches in Belarus, symbolizing remembrance for all the innocent victims and those who gave their lives for the Fatherland. This majestic church is located in Minsk at the intersection of Kalinovsky Street and Vsekhsviatskaya Street and is part of a memorial complex dedicated to national history and spiritual revival.

History

The history of the church began in 1991, when the first stone was laid by Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia. In 1996, a time capsule with an appeal to future generations was placed on the site. In 2005, the project «Memorial Church in honor of All Saints and in memory of the innocently killed in our Fatherland» was approved, and construction began in the summer of 2006. A milestone was the installation of the domes in October 2008. On July 2, 2010, the remains of three unknown soldiers from the wars of 1812, 1914, and 1941 were buried in the crypt. The church was solemnly consecrated on October 14, 2018, with the participation of Patriarch Kirill.

Architecture

The architectural design of the church reflects spiritual grandeur and national memory. It is built in traditional Orthodox style, with five domes topped with crosses. The snow-white facades, decorative arches, and mosaics emphasize the monumentality of the building. Inside, visitors will find striking frescoes, an iconostasis, and a memorial crypt containing the remains of unknown soldiers.
