September 17, 1955 - it is from this date that the great fascinating history of the Theatre for Young Spectators in Minsk began, which has been lasting for 70 years.

Since 1956, more than 350 performances have been staged here, each of them not only entertains — it educates and inspires both children and adults!

The Theatre for Young Spectators in Minsk does not stand still; it has gained international recognition — since 2019 has entered the world elite of children's theatres and is now a full-fledged participant in the global theatre process, and since 2024 — a member of the Shanghai International Children's Theatre Alliance.

The Theatre for Young Spectators in Minsk is the only drama theatre for children and youth in the whole of Belarus.

Behind the scenes, a team of talented and energetic professionals works: actors, directors, playwrights, artists. They not only realize their ideas — they actively communicate with the audience, listen to them, and create performances for them.

The repertoire includes 38 performances of various genres. Here you will find Belarusian classics, Russian classics, and world classics. And also — contemporary domestic and foreign authors.

The Theatre for Young Spectators in Minsk invites you to look where there is usually no entry: on tours — for children and adults:
"How a Fairy Tale Gets on Stage" (6+) — for young spectators.
"Through the Labyrinths of the Stage" (16+) — for those who want to understand the theatre's backstage kitchen more deeply.

Tour program:
- history and traditions of the theatre;
- the creation of a performance: from idea to appearance on stage;
- visit to theatre workshops: you will see how the masters who create magic work;
- the stage: you will discover the secrets of the theatre stage and visit the rooms where the sets are stored;
- the hold: the room under the stage where complex mechanisms and lifting and lowering devices are hidden. These are what create the stage effects;
- the costume room: you will learn where the costumes are kept and what the work of a costume designer involves;
- theatre museum: unique exhibits and artifacts telling the rich history of the theatre await you.
