Brest Theater of Music and Drama
To book a tourIn August 1940 in Moscow the graduates of GITIS was created The Brest Regional Russian Drama Theatre. However, he was destined to short life. The news of the war with the Nazis found the artists on tour in Pinsk.
Shortly after the liberation of Brest from the Nazi invaders, October 1, 1944, was organized by the Youth State Russian Drama Theatre of the Lenin Komsomol of Belarus in Brest.
The general reconstruction of the building of the Brest Drama Theater was began in 1989.
In 1995 the reconstruction was completed, and today in Brest there is one of the best theater buildings in the country.
Since 1996, the Brest theatre Drama and Music shows the International Festival of Theatre Art ”White Tower” . This is the only festival of this level in the country.
