The architectural ensemble of Railway Station Square and Station in Vitebsk

Privokzalnaya Square - is an important transport hub of the city.

The area is a rectangle with dimensions of 166 by 90 meters. The left side of Square, in 1960, was laid out square. In the center arranged a flower bed, planted a few firs. Privokzalnaya Square originated in 1866 in connection with the laying of a Vitebsk railroad and the construction of the Privokzalnaya. Originally called Vokzalnaya. After the Second World War in the early 1950s, the area was built a new station building (to replace demolished). In April-July 2010 was the reconstruction of Square in the center installed a fountain, asphalt paving tiles replaced with two colors, created by lawns and flower beds, reduced the size of the parking lot, changed the location of public transport.
