Park Soveyki
Soveyki Park is a picturesque natural retreat in the Minsk Region, part of the once-majestic palace and park ensemble in the village of Soveyki. Covering about 10 hectares, the park is not just visually pleasing — it impresses with its thoughtful design, rich variety of plant species, and unique landscape solutions. On its territory, you will find both native trees (spruce, maple, linden, oak, ash, alder, and others) and rare introduced species, including European larch and grey walnut. It comes as no surprise that the park is included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values of the Republic of Belarus.
History
The origins of Soveyki Park date back to the late 18th – early 19th century. It became an integral part of the Novitsky estate — a prominent noble residence, traces of which are still felt in the layout and character of the area. The park was designed according to the classical principles of landscape art: here you will find both formal elements and picturesque zones combining aesthetics and natural harmony. A central alley 450 meters long leads into the heart of the park, revealing shady clearings, ponds with connecting channels, and an island with a gazebo.
