Monument to the fellow countryman-fireman V.Ignatenko
To book a tourVasily Ivanovich Ignatenko (1961 — 1986) — the liquidator of the Chernobyl accident, the commander of branch of 6th independent militarized fire brigade on protection of the city of Pripyat, the Hero of Ukraine. Took direct part in fire extinguishing on the atomic power station in the night from 25 for April, 26th, 1986. Has died on May, 13th, 1986. It is buried on the Mitinsky cemetery in Moscow.
On Bragin”s central square the monument to the fellow countryman-fireman is established. In Braginsky a historical museum of Ignatenko the exposition is devoted.
