Church of Peter and Paul in Izabelin
To book a tour Church of Peter and Paul was built in 1778 as the Calvinist church, which later served as a church as Lutherans. In 1936 the temple was consecrated in the name of Saints Peter and Paul.
In 1960, the church was closed and used as a warehouse, and in 1980 the temple was set on fire. In 1993 the building was restored.
The architecture is a rectangular plan with a large volume of the semi-circular apse, which covered a total gable roof. The silhouette is dominated single-stage bell tower with cut corners and sloping tent covering. Above the main facade - a low rectangular entrance aperture and high arched window above it. The gable of the main facade is decorated with panels, outlets, cross and rectangular niches. The building is belted at the perimeter cornice simplified profile. At the entrance is a small narthex, for which there are two massive faceted columns supporting the choir. The altar in the apse area is separated from the main volume of the archway and three steps.
Peter and Paul Church is included in the state list of historical and cultural value of the Republic of Belarus.
