Striginskaya Church of St. John the Evangelist

Stryhin Church was built in 1817. The construction was carried out with the support of local resident Vasily Kruk. Initially, it was used as a chapel for Uniate funeral services, which corresponded to the faith of part of the local population. During the Soviet era, the chapel was not in operation.

Restoration of the Church in 1990

In 1990, the Orthodox parish of the village of Stryhin carried out a major renovation of the building. Large-scale work was done: a vestibule was added, the roof was replaced, and other restoration efforts were undertaken. After the reconstruction, the church was consecrated in honor of the Apostle John the Theologian.

Historical and Cultural Significance

The St. John the Theologian Church is included in the list of historical and cultural heritage sites of the Republic of Belarus. This church is an important monument of architecture and spiritual heritage, preserving a unique atmosphere of the past.
