During the Soviet era, the building was used for non-religious purposes, and only in the 2000s did its gradual restoration begin. On September 4, Bishop Antoni Demyanko of Pinsk consecrated the grounds of the newly returned Catholic church. From that moment, spiritual life in the parish was revived, and Father Pavel Mazan, who had previously served in Gomel, became its pastor.
