The Monument of Lenin in Pinsk
Type: Monuments
Date of Foundation: 1970 year
Status: Republican value
Republic of Belarus, Brest region, Pinsk, Lenin square
The Monument to V. I. Lenin was installed in 1970 to commemorate the centenary of his birth. The monument was created by sculptor N. Milovidov and architect M. Altshuler.
The figure of Vladimir Ilyich is depicted in full height, capturing a moment of movement. In his right hand, pressed to his chest, he holds a cap, while his left hand is slightly pulled back, creating a sense of dynamism. It seems as if he is about to step off the pedestal and address the people. This monument is considered one of the most expressive representations of Lenin, harmoniously complementing the architectural ensemble of the square and giving it a special significance.
