The monument on the grave of Kastus Kalinouski rebels

In 1933, the Polish authorities erected a commemorative obelisk on the grave of the insurgents associated with the name of Kastuś Kalinoŭski. It is made of polished black granite and adorned with an engraved inscription. On May 24, 1863, not far from the village of Lososin, Russian punitive forces engaged in a fierce battle with a detachment of insurgents led by the Pruzhany nobleman Vladimir Shchastny; 40 insurgents were killed in the battle. The monument was destroyed in 1998, but it was restored by enthusiasts in 2000.
