Republic of Belarus, Mogilev region, Bobrujsk, Lenin square
Installed in 1969, the Lenin monument, created by sculptor P. Belousov and architect M. Myznikov, was originally a six-meter bronze figure on an eight-meter concrete pedestal, clad in black labradorite. Until 2006, it was considered one of the tallest monuments to the leader in Belarus, second only to the monument in Minsk. However, as part of the city's reconstruction for the "Dazhynki" festival, the pedestal was removed, altering the original appearance of the monument.
