But this church did not have a long history - in 1709 it burned down. In 1745 the owner of Ivenets village Jan Sollogub built a church here again. But this time he used for its construction stones. But in the mid-nineteenth century it also did not escape the fire. It was restored in 1868 and converted into Orthodox Holy Trinity church. It was returned to the Catholics in a half of a century. In 1868 year after the Second World War the catholic church was closed. The church was rebuilt in the late ХХ century by the architect I. Moskalev, and returned to believers.
St. Michael the Archangel Church architecture is built in the style so-called «Vilna baroque». Its distinguishing feature is the presence on the facade of multi-stage, pyramidal towers, rising in the sky. A two-storey monastery building is situated to the left of the temple.
