Monument in honor of the 500th anniversary of the founding of the city - The Tree of Life
The monument "Tree of Life," erected in 2006 to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the city, is the work of sculptor V.V. Terebun. The bronze composition, over four meters high, embodies the idea of strength and the eternity of nature.
At the core of the monument is a stylized tree with two intertwined trunks, symbolizing the inseparability of natural elements. The tree stands on a granite pedestal shaped like a pyramid, with roots smoothly transitioning into trunks that branch out into the crown. At the center of the crown is a circle representing the sun, inscribed with "Bolshaya Berestovitsa" and a coin-like disk engraved with the settlement's founding year, "1506." In the heart of the composition is a squirrel, and crowning the monument is a symbol of the town, featured on its coat of arms.
