Legend "Grave of the lion"
Once on the site of Mogilyov, in the endless forest there was a predatory hangout of ataman Masheka. Masheka was a man of extraordinary power, pulling trees out of their roots, terrified with their robberies of the neighboring villages. However, impregnable and terrible for many, Masheka became a victim of female perfidy. The place where he was allegedly buried was called the “Grave of the lion”, and the city that emerged here, was called Mogilyov.
