Museum of Physical Culture and Sports of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus

Museum of Physical Culture and Sports of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus was established January 1, 1985. Decree of 30 March 1982 № 38 Committee for Physical Culture and Sports under the Byelorussian SSR confirmed the group of creating of the National Museum sports movement. Committee on Physical Culture and Sports of the Council of Ministers of the BSSR December 19, 1984 issued an order number 3554 with the opening of January 1, 1985 the Museum of Physical Culture and Sports of the Byelorussian SSR. Since September 19, 1991 - Museum of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Belarus. February 16, 1996 the Minister of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus has approved the Charter of the Museum (Museum FKiS RB).

Area of demonstrations halls is 439.8 m2. The museum has 16,120 museum objects, including general fund - 14901, auxiliary science - 1219. All exhibit is available in two permanent exhibition. Cultural events are held under the work plan approved by the parent organization.
