Museum Historical Information Centre RUE Beltelecom
To book a tourHistorical Information Centre RUE Beltelecom (formerly Museum of Communications) opened for visitors on August 1, 2011 after a short break. The expositions of the center are located in a spacious hall 377 sq.m. which is devoted to the history of the development of all types of communications. History of the collection of the center has more than 25 years, and now there are over 1000 exhibits, including Morse, Bodo telegraphs, telephones of various years of manufacture, the first radio receivers, radio televisions and televisions, measuring instruments, urban, intercity and early childhood radio equipment and much more. Here you can hear the voice of the legendary announcer Yuri Borisovich Levitan from a 1930 loudspeaker, listen to romances from records, try yourself as a telegraphist on a working Morse apparatus, watch comedy «Girls» which is beloved by many generations by teleradiol «Belarus-3», which was released in 1957.
It is departmental museum - visit to the museum must be arranged in advance. Excursions are conducted for groups of visitors of 20 to 60 .
