Memorial museum-workshop Azgur has become today a unique museum - the museum era. He is the only monographic museum in the Republic of Belarus based on the basis of the creative workshop of the USSR Academy of Arts (Department of Sculpture) and personal artist's studio. Of particular significance museum collection tells the authenticity and uniqueness of its stock collections, their high artistic quality and historical and documentary value.
Zaire Isaakovich Azgur - an outstanding portraitist of the twentieth century, who has spearheaded the formation of the Belarusian school of sculpture. People's Artist of the Byelorussian SSR, the USSR, Hero of Socialist Labor, winner of the Stalin Prize, member of the USSR Academy of Arts.
