News : IV International Kupala Festival «Svyata sonca» in Duduki

The museum complex of ancient folk crafts Dudutki invites everyone to celebrate IV International Kupala Folk Festival «Svyata sonca» 2019 , where you can fully experience the atmosphere of ancient Kupala traditions and participate in ancient Belarusian rituals.

The festival will be held June 22-23, 2019, and its main idea will be in recreating the atmosphere of the most ancient holiday of Kupala. The format of the festival combines several diverse events in one idea:

• FireShow-Festival;
• Open-air concerts
• Ethno grounds;
• Artisan market;
• Interactive and sports grounds;
• Tavern;
• Obstacle course and and much more.

Throughout the festival there will be ceremonial and entertainment events (games, dances, master classes, etc.).

At the end of the event on the banks of the river Ptich the Kupala bonfires will light up, wreaths will float on the river, and everyone will be able to jump through the Kupala fire.
The Festival «Svyata sonca» is a unique opportunity to celebrate Kupala in all established traditions and rituals and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the past.
