Changes in the rules of entry into the Republic of Belarus
15-October-2020Belarus is still an open country to visit. To reduce the risk of the spread of coronavirus infection in Belarus, a number of measures and restrictions have been taken to control the situation. Among them, from October 14, 2020, a new mandatory requirement has been introduced - a negative test for COVID-19. Requirements for a medical document:
- the test must be made no later than 72 hours before the date of crossing the State Border of the Republic of Belarus by the polymerase chain reaction method;
- the medical document must contain the last name, first name of the citizen and the result of laboratory tests for COVID-19 infection;
- the document can be written in Russian, or Belarusian, or English.
The absence of this medical document is a grounds for refusal to enter the Republic of Belarus by officers of the border service.
For more details on entry conditions see the section Entry to Belarus during a pandemic Сovid-19.
