Peat briquette factory DITVA

Open Joint Stock Company «Peat briquette factory DITVA» is one of the largest in Belarus for the extraction of peat and the production of fuel briquettes, charcoal, fertilizers «Biogumus».

During a tour of the enterprise, you will get acquainted with the technologies of peat extraction and processing, with the railway station and the railway depot. Also, on the territory you will visit an exhibition of railway transport, where a dining car, a fire tank on wheels and other no less interesting vehicles are presented. After that, you will be put into a special wagon that rides along the peat extraction fields along a narrow gauge track (about 10 km one way) and inspect the production base with peat extraction equipment.

The uniqueness of the tour also lies in the terrain. You will be able to see the functioning pontoon bridge, admire the beauty of Belarusian nature and observe the life of birds and animals in their natural environment. Ducks of all kinds, herons, eagles, foxes and roes are found here.
