The Beaver Monument in Bobruisk – Symbol of the City and Luck

In 2006, the residents of Bobruisk received an unusual gift – a beaver monument installed to commemorate the national festival "Dazhynki". This grand event left its mark on the city’s history, giving its residents and visitors a unique landmark. The bronze statue, weighing over 300 kilograms, was placed on a busy street near the central market.

The Bronze Beaver – Symbol of Power and Luck

The monument is made of bronze, representing a collective image of a modern Bobruisk resident. The beaver has a slightly Jewish appearance but looks powerful and confident at the same time. This city symbol quickly became surrounded by legends: it is believed that touching its chain brings wealth and good fortune. Thanks to this, the monument has become a true city relic.
