Legend "Lake Naroch"
Once upon a time, a Nara girl lived on the shore of a large lake with crystal-clear water. At sunset, she loved to sit by the water on the sandy shore and sing while playing on the harp.
The old widower-pan heard these songs and he wanted to take the girlfriend as his wife. But Nara had a fiance, and she refused. Then the servants killed the guy, and the girl was brought to the pan”s mansion. On the night before the wedding, Nara set the palace on fire and tried to escape. On the shore of it caught the palace guards. When Nara realized that the chase did not go away, and rushed into the water.
Since that time, the lake is called by its name - Nara or Naroch.
