International Culinary Festival Motalskia spymaki
"Motalskie prysmaki" is the first Belarusian international culinary festival that takes place in the motor center of Motol, Ivanovo district, Brest region since 2008. The organizers are Ivanovo regional executive committee, Motolsky rural executive committee, BOO "Rest in the countryside", European Center for eco- and agro-tourism, And the Brest Public Council for the Development of Agroecotourism.
The festival-competition of Polissya dishes "Motolskie prysmaki" gives the opportunity for numerous guests of the festival to get acquainted with the unique ancient culinary traditions of the Belarusian Polesye, to taste the famous motley sausages and pies, to taste the dishes of the best moto housewives. Colorful atmosphere is created by performances of Belarusian folklore ensembles, old games and folk rituals.
In 2015, the VIII culinary festival "Motolskie prysmaki" was held on August 7-8. The forum was opened - a solemn procession of participants and a theatrical performance in the main square of the village. Within the framework of the festival there were round tables, tastings of dishes of Polissya cuisine, evening "Motol ball". Traditionally, during the fest, the work of handicraft and trade rows was organized. And the holiday ended with a magnificent concert-laser show "We light the stars of the festival".
