From 10th till 11th of February 2012 the «Tournament of Four» - the hockey championship on the prizes of CC «BelSwissBank» is taking place in Minsk. The national teams of Germany, Slovakia and Switzerland will arrive in Minsk to compete in this international tournament. They will try hard to beat the Belarusian hockey first team to win the prize.

The tournament has two stages. On 10th February 2012 everyone can see the match - Switzerland against Slovakia. It starts at 3:30 pm. In the evening on the ice will compete the national teams of Germany and Belarus. The match starts at 7:00 pm. On 11th February 2012 will be held two decisive matches - the teams defeated in first stage will fight for third place, and the winners will battle for the victory.
The «Tournament of Four» will be held in «Minsk-Arena». Tickets are on sale. They can be purchased in ticket offices of Minsk.

On 11th February, 2012 the sale-market «Sale With Love Fashion Market» will take place in Minsk. It is a clearance sale of clothes and accessories of Belarusian designers. Every guest of the event will also get a chance to buy gifts and souvenirs for St. Valentine's day. The international federation of skiing has confirmed a calendar of competitions for a season-2011/12. The Belarus sport center «Raubichy» again, as well as in the past season, signs one of World Cup stages on freestyle in ski acrobatics.

The World Cup stage in Raubichy becomes the eighth under the account and is planned on Saturday, on February, 25th, 2012. In total in a forthcoming season it is planned to spend 10 stages of a World Cup.

On February, 19th 2011 Raubichi accepted for the first time a World Cup stage on ski acrobatics. Anton Kushnir became its winner, and one more Belarus sportsman Denis Osipov has appeared the bronze prize-winner.

This is an annual festival that brings together fans of guitar and song. The festival has a rich history and is a traditional meeting place for Vitebsk audience with singer-songwriters from other cities of Belarus and other countries. Over the years on the festival scene were Veronica Dolina, Yury Lores, Alexander Ivanov, Sergei Kaplan, Elena Kazantseva, Galina and Boris Vayhanskie, Lydia Cheboksarova, Alexander Bal, Vyacheslav Kovalev and others.
During the festival, there will be a competition for young composers and performers and several festival concerts.

In addition, the contest of writers and performers will be held at the festival. The contest consists of two rounds:

The first round will be the 27th of October, at 11.00 in the building of the State Institution «Centre of Culture» Vitebsk». In the first round will participate all those, who submited an application to the organizing committee and paid the festival fee. Applications are submitted to the Organizing Committee from the 25th of October 2012. Fee per participant competitive selection is of 40 000 (forty thousand) rubles (includes manufacture of badges, includes visits to two live events on the 27th and 28th of October).

- Performer;
- Duet, ensemble
At the end of the 1st round the participants of the 2nd round of the competition will be determined.

The second round - a competitive concert of the best performers - on October 27 at 18.00 in the State Institution «Centre of Culture» Vitebsk». According to the results of the second round of the competition jury will determine two (2) winners of the festival, as well as the Audience Choice Award winner.

The name "Halі-Halo" appeared in Novopolotsk in the 1994. That's when the idea was born of the same name of the festival for talented children and adolescents. Two years later, when the event has proved a right to exist and has acquired a reputation, it was been taken under the wing of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, and in the 1996 the city contest got  the status of the national song contest. In the melody of the "Halo-Halі" seven music sonorous were sounded - exactly as many times as it collected friends in Novopolotsk. After the 2003 has been a lull, which was broken last year. And now it is continued ...

• - Positioning of child vocal art as an integral part of the culture of the Republic of Belarus;
• - the exchange of creative ideas and practical experience.

On December 6-7th 2012 III International forum «Image of Republic of Belarus: time to operate»will pass in Minsk.

The third forum, in comparison with two previous, having informative and branch character, will be devoted to realization of projects and new initiatives.
For the image of Belarus the directions of involvement of foreign tourists and carrying out significant events in the country, advances of branches and brands in foreign markets, creation of attractive conditions and effective mechanisms of investments attraction are actual. The main aime of the forum is to support and initiate projects on advance of the cities, regions, branches, the enterprises and the countries as a whole.
Forum will have 3 sections:

• Section «Tourism and positioning of the cities»
• Section «Communications»
• Section «International trade and investments»

Within the Forum will pass the Final of Contest in creative works on creation of projects in the field of advance of the cities and the regions the purpose of which is creation of effective creative decisions for promoting of tourist, event, economic, export, cultural and historical potential of the country for involvement of the foreign tourists, competitive positioning of the cities and regions, increase export of the Belarusian production.
The organizer of the forum is the Center of strategic development «Marketing systems».

From December 11th till December 15th 2012 the mineralogical trade fair «Stone Fairy Tale» will be held. The visitors can experience the colorful, magical, alluring world of stone and see priceless examples of applied art, submitted by collectors, artists from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and other countries, as well as to meet with collectors, scholars and members of the Geography Faculty of BSU.
During the exhibition, there will be lectures with video screenings, thematic exhibitions, excirsions, consultations, and for participants the competition for the most attractive mineralogical specimens, the original wizard, exclusive exhibition collection will be organized. Continuing the current study express gemological laboratory will work, where samples and exhibited products are diagnosed. The program of activities of the

The exhibition will feature attractive crystals, minerals, rocks, fossils, collected samples and original works of masters of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, the Baltic States and other.
In the Museum of Earth Sciences of the Geography Faculty you can see the exhibition «Gems of the world», according to the classification of EY Kiyavlenko and «Ages Litophony», representing the prehistoric world of the planet.

From the 14th till 16th of December 2012 the trade fair of Modern and Traditional Crafts «Mlyn» will be held in Minsk.
The main pavilion of the NEC «BelExpo» will be completely immersed in the spiritual atmosphere of the author's works. Ceramics, painting, embroidery, dolls, felting, batik, beading, carving, wickerwork, artistic forging, casting, stamping, flowers, jewelry, scrapbooking, felting, decoupage, interior toys, textile dolls, Teddy bears, lampwork , polymer clay, patchwork - these and other areas of hand-made will be presented at the trade fair of modern and traditional crafts «Mlyn». The variety of sections of the exhibition will allow all users, regardless of age, tastes and preferences, choose a unique author handicrafts. Here you will find gifts in advance for family, friends and colleagues for the upcoming holidays, rid himself of the pre-New Year rush.
The exhibition will bring together artists from all over Belarus. Among them will be those who presented their exclusive products on the «Mlyn» since its foundation, and those who take part in the exhibition for the first time.
